I've always had a passion for art, and while my medium of choice has shifted over time, my deep appreciation has remained unwavering. It wasn't until August 2022, the summer before my junior year of college, that I discovered my love for creating watercolor paintings. This creative pursuit became a respite from the challenges and losses that life threw my way.

This seemingly casual endeavor soon evolved into something far more significant. Painting with watercolors became a therapeutic outlet, a cherished pastime, and the ultimate expression of my artistic spirit. It has taken time to build my confidence in creating watercolor artwork, and I've often grappled with an inclination to focus on perceived imperfections.

Yet, with each brushstroke, I've learned to gradually release my fixation on these flaws and, instead, celebrate the inherent beauty that resides within them.

My Journey

Over the past year, I've discovered that watercolor techniques are not just a means of artistic expression but also a means of shifting one's perspective.
